Shared rules
- Each run is rounded separately when material cannot be safely reused across runs.
- Posts are counted at segment boundaries and classified by corners and openings.
- Stock sizes, yields and prices are user parameters.

Rounding and limits
Items purchased as pieces are rounded up. Costs are rounded to two decimals. The calculator performs no structural or surveying analysis.
